When I spotted this purple dress in the window of a boutique in Paddington a few years ago, you could say that it was love at first sight!
Not only was I attracted to the lush colour; the ruffles and the low round décolleté… This tulip-shaped satin dress has an old time charm which I absolutely adore.
In an era of clean cut; simple lines and masculine designs, this 50’s inspired cocktail dress stands out from the crowd. To celebrate its femininity and the retro style, I paired it with my long strand pearl necklace and a Chinese Sandalwood wooden hand fan which was given to me by my beloved grandmother.
