प्यार के रंग भरते चलो

Apoorv Agarwal

“Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”

Helping others is not only good for them and a good thing to do, it also makes us happier and healthier too.

Giving also connects us to others, creating stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone. And it’s not all about money – we can also give our time, ideas and energy.

So if you want to feel good, do good!!!!!

The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind

Ann's Corner

A boy with a need. A struggling family. A desire to learn and to overcome.

A great story about what one person can do against seemingly impossible odds. Determination. Hope.

”I tried. And I made it.”

Listen to this video and be inspired! Another awesome TED story.

As my Mom always said “Where there’s a will, there’s a way!” This man’s account of what happened when he was still a boy in school bears witness to that truth.

Do you think what I’m asking’s too much?
I just want something to hold on to
And a little of that human touch

A Final Goodbye

The Falling Thoughts

This moon has been a witness of countless stories

He has seen destruction & he has seen glories

If this moon could speak, imagine what he would say

When he saw us; we were walking

I held your hand & we were talking

He saw you look back , while you were leaving

No one could see you crying, but this moon has been watching

That night, this moon who has been a witness of countless crimes

He closed his eyes and he was crying

My Party Season Cocktail Dress Pick – Purple Mood

640-AdjSE_DSC0021When I spotted this purple dress in the window of a boutique in Paddington a few years ago, you could say that it was love at first sight!

Not only was I attracted to the lush colour; the ruffles and the low round décolleté… This tulip-shaped satin dress has an old time charm which I absolutely adore.
In an era of clean cut; simple lines and masculine designs, this 50’s inspired cocktail dress stands out from the crowd. To celebrate its femininity and the retro style, I paired it with my long strand pearl necklace and a Chinese Sandalwood wooden hand fan which was given to me by my beloved grandmother.

While everyone is rushing to complete their Christmas shopping and decorating their homes, someone out there might not have a home to go to. A roof over his head maybe but an empty house is not considered a home if there is no warmth. This article is not going to be a nice heartwarming post but an awareness article.

Look around at the people surrounding you particularly your coworkers. Do they have families and friends nearby that they are celebrating with someone or they are holed up alone?

I remembered when I was in Shanghai, Christmas was cold and smoggy. ( Yes, you read right. Smog from pollution situation in China.) It could have been a disaster for me if not for the fact, I was…
