Yesterday we learned about Jonah! I love the story of Jonah and it was personally one of my favorites growing up!
We learned how Jonah was playing “hide and seek” with God but the only difference was that Jonah was not having fun at all!
We cannot hide anything from God and when He tells us to go do something we’d better listen.
I told the kids that we are much like Jonah in the way that we tend to hide things from God. And that no matter how many sins we’ve committed we can always come to God and confess it to Him, and he is faithful and just to forgive us of ALL our sins. I could see their shocked faces…

As some of you may know, my 17th birthday is coming up on the 18th of July (which also happens to be the first day of Eid). I wanted to get my manicure done, so I decided to get it done from Nabila’s in Karachi, which is a very well reputed salon. Today I’m going to write about my experience at the salon.
The reason I chose to get a French Manicure over just a regular manicure is because first of all, I feel like it looks very classy and elegant, and goes with everything. But the main reason was that because I’m in Karachi, I’ve got an amazing golden tan which I wanted to make the most of.
