I love history, boating and the Adirondacks so when we were in Bolton Landing in the Southeastern Adirondacks on the shore of beautiful Lake George, we had to stop at the new Bolton Historical Museum. They had a special exhibit on there called “Along the Shore: Boats and Boating on Lake George 1880-1920”. How wonderful and ideal! They had historic photographs and actual historic wooden boats and canoes from the Adirondacks. Here is a photo of the poster of the show (original photo copyright Julie Thatcher):
Make sure to visit this museum and see the show while there is still time. We will explore inside next.
