We have already seen that as Jesus went forth proclaiming the Kingdom, that healing, and restoration of wholeness went in His wake, for the restoration of wholeness, including the restoration of relationships torn by the hostility of this world is something within the very character of God. A peacemaker is someone who places a high priority on restoring relationships, even with those considered to be enemies; this is what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

On the other hand, many, maybe even most people of this world are not peacemakers. Look around you, this world is not a peaceful place, for people vie with each other for riches, for position and advantage. img_5323Over the Summer I’ve been tussling to create some kind of products.

I produced a couple of little booklets about drawing food earlier in the year, for an online Sketching course I was on with Sketchbook Skool.

And from those I created a little deck of drawing cards, which are quite fun to shake things up a bit with your drawing.

(And then there’s my ‘naughty “50 Shades of Grape” tea towel)

But four things isn’t quite enough to lay on a craft fair table; so I’ve been having to work on creating a foundation of ‘things’ to sell.

I’ve added about 20 cards onto my Etsy site, so far.

Exuberant Enjoyment

I’ll begin this with a bit of amateurish commentary.  I used to think Côtes du Rhône was the actual name of a grape.  I don’t know how long I paraded around like a buffoon saying this to people.  It just sounded so perfectly.  I was calling it my favorite wine for a time. That part remains true but I corrected myself and found the light.  At least I think so.

Grenache is the actual grape, and it’s grown all over the world.  Well I can now confidently say that Grenache is one of my favorites.  It’s extremely popular but one I don’t hear discussed often among peers.  It’s one I don’t have as often as I liked.  That’s on me. There’s so much wine to choose from that some do tend to get lost in the shuffle.
