Plans Gone Awry-Arthur River Tasmania

Planning to the Nth

The Edge of the World. That’s what the sign said and, standing on the hill looking out to sea, that’s how it felt. Untamed and untameable: Arthur River, North-West Tasmania. If you sailed from where the river enters the sea and kept going, you would hit South America without touching land. This accounted for the vicious wind ripping through me and I was grateful for the knitted beanie a caring friend gave me on my announcement that I was exploring Tassie in the depths of winter.

I stopped by the take-away shop, the only one in Arthur River, on the way back to setting myself up comfortably in my cabin. Closed, said the sign. Luckily, I’d been told to bring food, so I cooked up my two-minute noodles and set myself up next to the heater to relax and read. It was…

“Equal are we that choose to be”

Karl's Blog

I have chosen this path with diligence

Leaving not a covering of guilt or strife

Walk with me where spirits enlighten

Filling hearts with joyful sounds

Amidst this chaotic realm of fear

Looking even deeper we will find

We can be as one with one another

Standing arm in arm despite our differences

Product Review: NYX Simply Vamp Lip Cream in Enamored

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s time for…you guessed it, my weekly product review!

Alright so lately I’ve become obsessed with brown lipstick. It’s a neutral color that still looks unique when worn on your lips. I recently purchased two brown lipsticks and today is my review of NYX Simply Vamp Lip cream.

I own one other Simply Vamp Lip cream and it is amazing! It has the smoothest application of all of my lipsticks and stays on all day. Enamored is dark brown with a tint of gold, so perfect for me!

I will warn you, if you’re not a fan of pigmented dark shades on your lips, don’t get any of the Simply Vamp lipsticks. All of them are insanely dark and they will stay on your lips for quite some time. BUT if you’re a fan of dark shades, this is the lipstick for you!

Thanks for reading, my…

Enchanted Tales With Belle Review

The Pixie Dusted Disney Freak

On my latest trip to Walt Disney World, I got to see Enchanted Tales with Belle for the first time! It was one of the things that I was most looking forward to on my vacation, and I was just so excited to see it. Today I will be reviewing the attraction.

•My Description of the Attraction

Right near Beast’s castle (Be Our Guest Restaurant) and Gaston’s Tavern is where Enchanted Tales with Belle sits. The outside of the attraction looks like Maurice’s cottage and is simply adorable. As you enter the cottage, you see Belle’s favorite book that she got to keep from the librarian, a portrait of Belle as a little girl with her mom, and much more! (The details of the cottage are amazing, and I just loved how everything looked, and I felt I was actually standing in his cottage!) After you go through the cottage…

Survival guide: PMS Ruin your life?!

Hannah Crossley

I have really been struggling lately with my skin, a week before I’m due on my period (I know this is very common) but I mean its all around my chin & upper lip, they swell & hurt so much. I have a few products & tips that help me through this so thought I’d share with you all..

Of course It will be no surprise to you all, the top one is GlamGlow Super Mud, I will just touch on this as there are various posts here. This stuff calms everything down, I put it on the effected areas; on my chin & leave it there for 15 minutes & wash it off with warm water. It leaves your skin feeling fresh & the redness goes down.

What I’m meant to say is don’t put makeup on the effected areas, but we all know SLAP IT ON.. I…

A Good Day

Ann's Corner

Screen Shot 2016-01-16 at 6.45.16 PM

I just read this article and watched the little movie clip inside the article. It was such a blessing, in the words of a little girl and an old man.

I am guilty of letting so much of life just roll on by. I do try to take notice as much as I can otherwise, though, and it is always in the small things that I find the greatest wonder. Creation never fails to amaze me. I just do not get out into it often enough.

I so want to be different. I want to take the necessary steps. I want to be courageous in living this short life. 67 years of it gone by already and so much not yet experienced, sometimes out of fear, sometimes out of laziness, sometimes because of wrong priorities.

Often people ask “How was your day?”. Sometimes I do not know how…
