You must know by now how much I love the Mac Pro Longwear Concealer (read my full review here). Its full coverage, creamy formula works like an absolute dream. But, it’s a high end product, therefore it comes with a hefty price tag. So, i’ve been on a mission to find a high street alternative that is as good. It proved to be quite a challenge, and after many purchases that were huge disappointments, I almost accepted the fact that I wouldn’t find one. However, my last resort was the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. And, this concealer has forced my MAC Pro Longwear to take a back seat in my collection. It’s clear how much it’s been loved, apologies for the shabby packaging.

It’s 15 F/-9 C outside, which means I’m gonna have a cold walk into work in about an hour. It’ll be almost Annie and Kerry cold outside, but don’t worry: I keep bundled up.
My coat even has a hood, so I could go flying if I wanted to fly–assuming, you know, that I had a broom or could fly like a bird like certain characters of whom I write. But I can’t do that, so I have to deal with trudging around in the cold on foot. Flying to work would be nice, since it’s only a mile away and I’d be there in no time.
Speaking of getting somewhere in no time . . .
The next part of the scene has been in my head for a long a long time–probably a bit…

Pretty Girl Unloved
She was like the last leaf on a dying tree
Hanging from a barren branch
Too frightened to be free
Unloving winds made her rock and sway
Disconnected from her twig
She was forever castaway
Unwanted and unnoticed she fell in dirt
She remained all alone there
With no one to cure her hurt
Dying in shadows with no the sun above
She lay in the cold forever
Pretty girl unloved
Happy New Year!
Other than red lipstick, the other makeup look that I think of for New Years is a glittery, sparkly eye lid. This review is on the shade “Elegant”.
The packaging is a nice frosted glass container with a twist on lid, which is like most cream shadows but this definitely feels more expensive as the glass is heavier.
The formula of this cream shadow is a mousse-y texture that is very creamy and glides on easily. It can be sheered out or layered for a more intense glittery look; it is very pigmented.
This is a champagne/gold shade that is very flattering on the eyelid.
This formula is not transfer-resistant and will come off when touched/rubbed; it doesn’t set completely. However, it stays on fine if not touched and if not placed close to the crease as it can transfer to the crease.
