This house was near where the murders took place, and is mentioned in one of the articles below.
From the Butler Herald.
A Mother and her Five Children Murdered!!
A most shocking and brutal murder was committed in Slipperyrock township, this county, on this morning, by an Indiam calling himself Samuel Mohawk. We have been enabled to gather the following particulars of the horrid tragedy. Mr. James Wigton had left his house early in the morning for the purpose of going to his father’s to borrow from him a horse to plough corn, leaving his wife and five children at home. While he was absent, the Indian came there, and as appears from his confession, murdered Mrs. Wigton and her five children by beating out their brains with stones. Mrs. Wigton and the youngest child were not quite dead, when first discovered. The Indian then proceeded to a Mr. Kennedy’s…
It started with a post of mine were I wrote that I like the “pling” sounds your comments make when my ipad recieve notifications in my wp app.
In the comments to that post I found Jims comment which ended with a “pling”.
Since then a lot of “plings” have ended comments in my posts and I have returned the “pling” gifts by ending comments with “pling” when I visit Jims blog.
So if you wonder where the “pling” come from, you now know it’s The “pling” movement, that’s growing every day 😉
“pling” to you all!
Thanks for being here on wp with me, it’s so much fun and “plings” to find.
Sorting through drugstore products and weeding out the good from the bad can be overwhelming, because let’s be real there is a lot to go through! I thought I would reccomend products I believe are worth your money and save you the time and hassle.
1. E.L.F. Golden Bronzer – Yes I know your probably tired of me mentioning this product but its the perfect everyday not over the top highlight. AND its versatile meaning it would suit a lot of different skin tones.
2. Rimmel London Fix & Prefect Pro Primer – My favorite drugstore primer. Honestly I don’t find primers do a lot to help my makeup but with this one I do notice my foundation lasts longer, my face stays matte longer, and it makes everything look smooth.
This was the first lotion highlighter that I have ever tried! It is subtle and perfect for a natural undetectable glow. This review is on the shade “Birchbox Love” and it is a deluxe sample size.
This has a thick liquid formula which is not runny but thin and light-weight. You can mix this in with your foundation for an all-over glow/dew or just pat it on your cheekbones, bridge of nose, etc. It glides on well because of the texture and sets/dries in about 1 minute. Because I have combination oily skin, I do not like an all over dewy look and so I like to pat this on my cheekbones. When I want to prolong and intensify my highlight I like to layer a powder highlight over a liquid or cream highlight.
The shade is a blush tone and can be a bit dark or too…
I have slightly hooded eyes, I think it would actually be called a heavy fold. My eye shape is actually very similar to hers. Due to this I can’t just do any type of makeup look that I want. Certain strategies help to make a “hooded eye” look more open and awake.
I love Sona Gasparian‘s videos. If you have never watched her before I definitely recommend you check her out! This video about Hooded Eyes Makeup Do’s and Don’ts is such a great tutorial! What a huge difference in the way her eyes look!
Today I wanted to share my full experience working in the beauty industry as a nail tech. I’ve had many requests to talk more about how I’ve gotten my start, what it’s been like working in salons and independently, and much more. I’m hitting all the hot topics in my video. I hope you enjoy!
Thank you all so much for watching! If you guys would like a part two, please let me know in the comments. Also, if you enjoy these videos please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube Channel Polished by Amy. I hope your day is fabulous; love and light! 🙂
I am going to be honest… I have had a really hard time with eating right this week. Obviously making the transition from stay at home mom to working mom has been (and will be) a work in progress. I have been getting up early to exercise and always make my lunch the night before to bring into work. Since I have been using my crock pot to have dinner ready as soon as I get home from work, it has also been a lot easier to prevent myself from unnecessary after work snacking. If I plan out and control my meals, I have usually been successful. I know that I cannot be successful 100% of the time. I do want to be successful 100% of the time, but let’s be honest, it isn’t realistic. I have been letting…
