Sweet potato fries with cinnamon and paprika
These sweet potato fries are so addictive… Funny thing is, I didn’t like sweet potatoes in the beginning at all and now they are definitively one of my favourite foods. I make these sweet potato fries at least once a week! These sweet potato fries are so delicious, a healthy vegetables side that can complement many types of meals. As I’m not a fan of fried food I make these in the oven. Don’t be thrown by the cinnamon and paprika, they make an incredible combination and goes so well with the sweetness of the potato.
Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cinnamon
salt
6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees,

Badavi Linga temple & LakshmiNarasimha temple, Hampi
Badavi Linga temple:
This is the largest monolithic Linga in Hampi. Located next to the Narasimha statue.The shiva linga has a fairly large circular pedestal(yone pitha), Drawing into a pranala(outlet). The central median line(somasutra) has the 3 eye mark, drawn in line carving.
The sanctum in which the Linga is installed is always filled with water as a water channel is made to flow through it. Legend has it that this was commissioned by a peasant woman and hence the name (Badva means poor in local tongue).
The sanctum chamber that houses Linga, is a large stone, brick mortar structure.
According to Hindu mythology the River Ganga (Ganges) was brought from heaven to earth to quench the drought. But the river was so forceful that it could split the earth into two pieces if allowed to fall on earth. Lord Shiva consented to take the impact by allowing the torrent of Ganga…

The Qur’an is a book of argumentation against infidelity, polytheism, and atheism in the same way as it a book of legislation on Shariah matters. This is why intellectual and rational arguments, permeating all through it, have been advanced chiefly against infidels, polyththeists, Jews, Christians, and athiests or materialists. Reasoning with them reapetedly, every aspect of thier faith has been countered intellectually, challenging them to substantiate thier claims similarly. Criticising some of the contentious beliefs of the jews and the christians, for instance, the Qur’an commands thus:
Those are thier desires. Say unto them, O Muhammad: “produce proof in support of your claim if you are truthful.”
